Antioch is the Gateway to the Delta, located on the banks of the San Joaquin River in Northern California. Just off of Highway 4, in Contra Costa County.
With a population of over 100,000 people, Antioch has become the heart of Eastern Contra Costa County, offering a variety of employment, shopping and vast recreational activities.
Brentwood is a city in Contra Costa County, California, United States. It is located in the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area. The population was 23,302 at the 2000 census.
The downtown is centered around the intersection of Oak Street and First Street, just off Highway 4 (Brentwood Blvd). It is the site of offices, restaurants, a movie theatre and small stores. City Park, City Hall, Brentwood Library and the U. S. Post Office are located along Oak Street.
Brentwood began as a farming community in the late 1800s, and is known throughout the Bay Area for its agricultural products, primarily its cherries, corn and peaches. Many of the old farms and orchards have been replaced by urban developments since 1990. Brentwood is increasingly residential, with the rate of residential growth in the triple digits during the 1990s and 69% from 2000-2005. The historic water tower on Walnut Street symbolizes this transition in the city's character. It no longer serves its original purpose, but now hosts a large number of cell phone transmitters.

The Town of Danville[2] is located in the San Ramon Valley in Contra Costa County, California. It is one of the incorporated municipalities in California that uses "town" in its name instead of "city". The population was 41,715 in 2008. Danville is an upscale suburb of Oakland and San Francisco.
Danville is one of the wealthiest suburbs in the San Francisco Bay Area, with some of the most expensive and exclusive country clubs and houses in the country. It still preserves the characteristics of a town, being compact, largely self-sufficient as far as shopping goes, and having only a couple of commercial centers. Its downtown is noted for its somewhat rustic charm, intensively upgraded owing to its now extremely affluent demographics and its popularity as a regional destination for dining and light shopping. With heavy restrictions on large development, the downtown consists of many small shops on several traditional-styled plazas. It does not have its own hospital, being well-served by nearby regional medical centers including John Muir Hospital, San Ramon Regional Medical Center, and Kaiser Permanente. With the exception of a Costco location near its boundary with San Ramon, it does not host the "heavy shopping" provided by shopping malls located in nearby cities to the north or south. Danville's main street is Hartz Avenue in downtown Danville.
Dublin (formerly, Amador and Dougherty's Station) is a suburban city of the East (San Francisco) Bay region of Alameda County, California, United States. It is located along the north side of Interstate 580 at the intersection with Interstate 680, roughly 10 miles (16 km) east of Hayward, 6 miles west of Livermore and 25 miles (40 km) north of San Jose. The nearest major metropolitan area is that of Oakland, approximately 25 miles (40 km) to the west-northwest on Interstate 580. Because of this, Dublin is known as a "crossroads" of the Bay Area.[citation needed] The population was more than 46,000 according to the state of California's 2008 estimates.
Lafayette is located on 15 square miles in Contra Costa County, one of nine counties of the San Francisco Bay Area. The City was incorporated in 1968, although settlement of the area began in 1848.
Lafayette is noted for its high quality of life with top rated schools, low crime rate, small town downtown, clean air, mild climate and oak tree-studded hills. Located between Berkeley and Walnut Creek, Lafayette has its own Bay Area Rapid Transit station (BART) and is only a 25 minute BART ride from San Francisco.
Moraga (formerly, Moraga Town, Rheem, and Rheem Valley)[1] is an affluent suburban incorporated town located in Contra Costa County, California, The United States of America (USA), in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is named in honor of Joaquin Moraga, whose grandfather was José Joaquin Moraga, second in command to Juan Bautista de Anza. As of the 2000 census, Moraga was the 79th wealthiest place in the US with a population above 10,000.
It is also the home of Saint Mary's College of California, a Catholic university with 3,962 undergraduate and postgraduate students in the 2007-2008 schoolyear. The college was originally located in San Francisco and then Oakland, but moved to Moraga in 1928.
As of 2000, Moraga had a total population of 16,290, not including the college.
Pleasant Hill is a city in Contra Costa County, California, in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area. The population was 32,837 at the 2000 census. It was incorporated in 1961. Pleasant Hill is the home of College Park High School, Diablo Valley College, John F Kennedy University, the central branch of the Contra Costa County Library system, and Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District.

Oakley is a city in Contra Costa County, California, United States. The population was 33,250 at the 2006 Demographics Report as produced by the City. However, there have been population increases since the report was compiled. Oakley is part of the East Contra Costa Bicycle Plan, which has existing facilities in Oakley as well as plans for further expansion.
The City of Orinda is a family-oriented community in a semi-rural valley on the east side of the Oakland/Berkeley hills in the San Francisco Bay Area.
It offers its 17,500 residents a serene setting in contrast to the more urban existence of the surrounding area. Orinda is situated immediately east of the Caldecott Tunnel on Highway 24 and is served by a Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) station.

Pleasanton (formerly, Alisal and Pleasonton) is a city in Alameda County,California, incorporated in 1894. It is a major suburb in the San Francisco Bay Area located about 25 miles (40 km) east of Oakland, and 6 miles west of Livermore. The population in July 2007: 66,544 at the 2000 census. In 2005 and 2007, Pleasanton was ranked the wealthiest middle-sized city in the United States by the Census Bureau.[1] [2] Pleasanton is home to the headquarters of Safeway Inc., Oracle and Kaiser Permanente have offices in Hacienda Business Park. Although Oakland is the Alameda County seat, a few county offices and a courthouse are located in Pleasanton. Additionally, the main county jail is in the neighboring city of Dublin. The Alameda County Fairgrounds are located in Pleasanton, and the annual County Fair is held there during the last week of June and the first week of July. Shadow Cliffs Regional Park is located on the east side of town.
San Ramon (from Spanish: San Ramón meaning: St. Raymond; formerly Lynchville and Limerick[1]) is a city in Contra Costa County, California, United States. It is a part of the San Francisco Bay Area. The population was 44,722 at the 2000 census.
San Ramon is a suburb of San Francisco, Oakland, and Silicon Valley. As the location of the former headquarters of the company formerly known as Pacific Bell (later SBC, now AT&T), it is the home of Dilbert (Scott Adams worked there before creating the Dilbert comic strip). It is also home to the headquarters of Chevron Corporation and 24-Hour Fitness, Diablo Valley College, San Ramon Valley Regional Medical Center, and two public high schools: California High School and Dougherty Valley High School.
It is adjacent to Danville, California and Dublin, California.
San Ramon can be described as lying in a valley, flanked by hills. Its borders (east to west) extend from Norris Canyon in the west to Mt. Diablo in the east.
On April 24, 2001, San Ramon received the title Tree City USA.
Walnut Creek is a community located 16 miles (26 km) east of the city of Oakland. It lies in the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area. While not as large as neighboring Concord, Walnut Creek serves as the business and entertainment hub for the neighboring cities within central Contra Costa County, due in part to its location at the junction of the highways from Sacramento and San Jose (I-680) and San Francisco/Oakland (SR-24). As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 65,384 as of January 2008 according to the California Department of Finance.
